Saturday Happenings

Good Morning OFF Family,

I was out most of yesterday.  Went to the zoo, then to the hospital in town to get labwork done.  Then, went up to the NICU, to see my associate pastor's wife and baby.  Eden is so tiny.  She just reached 3 pounds.  She looks so much better than the original pictures of her.  She's getting some meat on her bones, so to speak.

I have a few errands to run today.  Nothing major.  Then, home, to clean and cook.

Almost forgot.  Today is Isabel's 7th birthday.  She and her family are visiting Uncle Toby, and Baby Hunter.  I celebrated with her on Tuesday.  I'm so blessed.

WOW Trish sounds like that baby is growing nice!!! God Is keeping her in HIS hands!!! Happy Birthday to Isabel!!!

Well we are counting down to VACATION!!!! BUT...WORRIED SICK!!!!!! Why?? Weather forecast and they are saying this could be the worst yet for us!!! Heavy rains...which means FLOODING here!!! And our apartment is one of the apartments that could flood!!! We are torn in what to do. Do we chance it and go or do we cancel and stay to ride out the possible storms all week? These storms are also for the whole state of Michigan. WHY is it happening????? SIGHS......... I really do hate mother nature I really do!!!!!

Tomorrow we go to Michigan for the NASCAR  Race...seeing the weather headed in that direction also has us worried...checked the weather report its calling for 79* there...no rain...so we will go and chance it...PLEASE be nice and keep the weather ok til we atleast get home. I have to drive home because Rick will be drinking his dam beer all day... not me...I will be drinking water!!!!  I am a nervous wreck that's for sure!!!!! I hate mother nature!!!

Got all the laundry done...need to start packing I guess...what to do what to do... I will not have a PC to post things unless the motel has a PC to use. Not sure yet...will check and see and if so I can post from there I guess. Otherwise it will be when we get back home on the 23rd. IF we have a home.... to come home to that is.

Mary (tenant that had the feeding tube put in) is doing wonderful....thankyou for the prayers!!!

Sandi is doing better BUT is in ALOT of pain...has really bad infection and a lot of bedsores...keep those prayers going please!!! She screams in pain when they try to move her around...poor thing!!  I hear anymore news on her will let you know.

Well better get dressed and do something around here...get things picked up off the floor incase it FLOODS inside while we are gone...

Judy we are showing no rain until Monday and they have moved that bac****il later in the day. Showing isolated and scattered showers for Monday and Tuesday.   I hope you are wrong about the rain as we have hay down and plan on baling it Monday am.

All I can tell you is KEEP AN EYE on WEATHER CLOSE!!!!!!!!! My Ohio Weather is telling me it is coming and it could be the worst so far this year!!! What I have been seeing is its in Michigan...ALL of it and into Ohio...That is what scares me the most!!! Heavy Rain which could bring FLOODING here while we are gone...OUR apartment is one that can flood!!!!!!! Praying HARD this fizzles out!!!!!!

Looks like they changed all the no rain days to rain.  I sure hope it isn't heavy.  Everything is already water logged here.

Hmm I better watch the weather channel!!!! Im driving to Chicago on Friday for about eight days. Then Im driving back home packing my camping gear and going back. Im going with my friend and her two kids. We are dropping off her daughter at her married daughters house. Picking up my nephew and going camping with her son. Not sure where! Maybe Michigan! 

Did u see the moon last night? It was breath taking! I have pictures up on my facebook page.

Bill put some hay down yesterday and hoping we don't get the rain Judy is seeing.  It isn't suppose to get here until late Monday and hoping this is so.  They had been showing no rain for several days after Tusday but have added in some more rain days.

I caught something and have been down since last night so stopped in to see how all are doing.

Good  afternoon Trish and everyone....

I did three loads of laundry this morning. So glad that is all done for another week. I washed the last of my blankets. Now they are clean and stored away. I just have a lightweight blanket on my bed that I use in the summertime. 

We have been having a few rainy days here too. One day the A/C is on and the next I am freezing. My poor body doesn't know what to do. These fluctuating temps make my body hurt so bad from head to toe.  I know there are many of you that suffer with the same thing. It is so madden. I am at my wits end always having to medicate to get through a day. I should be able to get out and do things. I read all the busy things everyone is doing and it makes me feel so old. 

Trish...I hope Izzy has a wonderful birthday today!! That was nice that you went to see your pastors baby. She will be fine as there are many praying for her. I weighed 3 pounds when I was born, but then I was a twin. 

Carla....forever on the move. I am so jealous of all your adventures and fun places you can go. Keep taking pics...I will see if I can get on Facebook to check them out.

Judy....I am praying everyday that you will be able to leave on your trip  on time and that you won't flood out while you are gone! 

Pine....I hope you are feeling better soon. Sorry you got that bug!!

I can't remember who else posted...the meds make my thinking be more confused then ever...DUH!!

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Last day of vacation. Not doing much. Got up too early (8:30 a.m.) and did laundry ... my back started bothering me last night and still is hurting me. I put on my TENS unit and I'm hoping that will help. Along with laundry I got two bags of newspapers ready to take to the dumpster. I hope to vacuum today, but that will depend on my back. Other than that, I'm just vegging. Watching baseball, etc. 

Judy, I hope you get to go to your race and on vacation. I know I enjoyed mine despite cutting it short due to my toe. I have an appointment with the foot doctor on July 10. Then I have to find a week to take off to have the surgery. I fear it might be October.
